Pop the air box off and the air intake off. Two 8 mm bolts hold the carb on, undo them. Unscrew the float bowl which is held on by 2 screws. Undo the main jet (the large one in the middle) and have a look for a number on it. It should be 74, if it isn't you need to buy one |

It sounds like it may be the drivebelt?
When you say it 'bogs', does the engine bog at all, or does it just slow down for no real reason?
Is it a 50cc?
They seem to be about £20 on Ebay so as long as you fit it yourself it won't be expensive.

Hiya, I went out on it today, did about 5 mile on it, reaching over 50mph on three or four occasions - it was fine...Then after ten minutes i went over 50mph again and the bike bogged down again
I dont think it is the plug as i fitted an iridium sparkplug in about 4 weeks ago, It feels as though the engine is being choked/ or the exhasut is being choked (Thats what it feels like anyway)
When i initially installed the malossi variator it was ok for a day or two, then this one time it just bogged out when i hit 50
Oh, yeah its 50cc |

Thanks Keith for all the help
One more thing; Could it be anything to do with either the belt? Or clutch
Just trying to discount certain things
Thanks again |
