Well recently as my bikes been off the road I've been renting Honda CG's from the local riding school/club to qwell my withdrawel symptoms.

I've had some great times on the bikes and thought it was about time we pay homage to these marvelous little machines.

I hired the first about 5 weeks ago, £50 for the week but got an extra week free as it was bank holiday when I would usually return it... This was the bike that I took my CBT on and learnt to ride bikes with Mr. Green

I could'nt remove the rear 'L' rear plate as the bolt was fucked, so enter the road pirate Laughing ...The police absoloutly loved this Razz
I was pulled over/ talked to 4 times in the time I was riding this bike and each time I pointed out my skull and crossbones... Hahaha you could sense the frustration they had at the fact it was just legal enough but blatantly taking the piss Cool

Took it to the LandRover tracks in Eastnor with my mate on the back and had some great offroading...

Also took it onto the Malvern Hills with my mate on a 100cc Honda lead moped following, at 2:30 in the morning...

It was great fun, abit of an adventure really getting up there as it had been raining and so was difficult terrain with narrow and often slippy bridle ways, steep inclines and at the top we were going around the paths at upto 25-30mph with a 900ft drop to the side of us Shocked

The second I hired two weeks ago and took it back last sunday as the club have now changed the day that we meet.

I took this baby out on after my first week of college becuase I can't stand public transport, went on a rideout that Sunday with Beatnck, his brother James on a gixxer and Kenny on his CBR600
https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?p=1937032#1937032

Then on the Friday/Saturday before I had to take it back I went on a massive ride back through Bridgenorth and cuased a fuck load of suicidal chaos...
Through Worcester and truly learnt to keep my knee down, and back through bradford I even managed to get my left knee down Cool

My CG is quite possibly the worst bike I've ever owned. It's so shockingly terrible at being everything a motorcycle ought to be it's actually brilliant.

Craig, this brings a great question to mind:
What exactly is your definition of a MOTORBIKE?

Haha that reminds me of when I got back from Bala, I'd left my bike in upton and had to bung one of my crewmates kitbags, sleeping bag, shoes, jacket, etc etc onto the back of the CG with just a few bungees and rope... Then I had to take it down a big trail and 1/4 to his house, was a dogy ride though Laughing

Yeah, my numberplate is kwality- if a tad ironic Laughing

Really enjoyed that trip, Plymouth- Gloucestershire via Bath, and up over Dartmoor- I was gonna get the train and get Dad to pick the bike up later with a trailer but just though soddit and rode. Plastic "topbox" with the lid tied down and cable tied to the rack, big camping backpack on too and we were down to 55/60mph on the open/ flat bits, but didn't care... way more exciting than sitting at 80+ on the m-way on the GS. Note map/ directions duck taped to the tank... OK so we suffered minor breakdowns twice, but a bit of prodding with a screwdriver and we were on our way again- these things just go on... and on...

I need to sell the CG, hoping my housemate will buy her so I can pinch her occasionally for old time's sakes! Got me through my test too, despite the fact it's 6 years older than I am Mr. Green
