To be honest, i would have thought those three parts would be the same on all the sendas. I think the main differences between them are probably brakes, tyres, forks and styling differences. Dont quote me though
The JR9B is a 12mm plug, so wont even fit the head. However, if the plug is too big for the HT lead, you can just unsrew the tip of the plug. Im sure 90 degree caps require this.
Id check with the manual or the NGK website about the exact plug, its probably the owners that have found a certain heat rating works better with certain mods etc. but id stick the standard plug in and take it from there.

Same engine as mine, pretty sure if its a 03 its running a mineralli am6. So plug needed is a BR9ES.
Just went through 4 in a week
I know the engine is different on the senda R extremes, as there like 05 bikes or my mate was and had a different engine altogether. although styling parts like that should be fine although things with critical fitting should be thought about before buying, ive bought parts for my 05 off a 03 bike, that dont fit at all ____________________ Past: '05 Peugeot XPS '99 Aprillia RS125 '94 FZR600R

Then save your bike from the hurt.
It does make a big difference,
The higher the number ie10 the colder the plug burns
the lower the hotter ie. br8
So if you choose the wrong plug, then your plug gets too hot and burns a hole in your piston. and that is not clever is it. ____________________ Past: '05 Peugeot XPS '99 Aprillia RS125 '94 FZR600R

the b8es etc are ngk plus, its possible the one in it is a alternative manufacturers plug. Id get the ngk if i were you for the sake of about £3 then you know you got the right plug. Sweet, i would also replace the plug cap with an ngk one, again only a few quid as the orignal that came fitted to the derbis is shite. It corrodes causing misfire, non starting etc. |

That right there ^^ is hella informative !
Il buy the B8ES tomorrow, shop should sell a cap too shouldnt they...this is the first restoration project ive done, using it as a major learning curve ( currently studying motorcycles to, and have some knowledge already, but ide rather look stupid and ask questions, than try it myself and fook it up )
Laugh if you will, im just being honest :p |

Indeed that was what bike shops have come to teach me.
as today i went in asking for a br8 as my plugs were coking, they told me it wasnt recommended unless i wanted to do a piston change soon as it gets too hot ____________________ Past: '05 Peugeot XPS '99 Aprillia RS125 '94 FZR600R
