Downloaded maps are pretty pants TBH.

Before you do anything else make sure you check your air filter is clean and check your TPS setting. These can have a big bearing on the running of your bike and the way changes you make in the powercommander affect it too.

The only way you're really going to be able to use your powercommander effectively without a dyno session is by using a wideband datalogger. Using one of those you record RPS, TPS and exhaust O2 - you'll end-up with a better-running bike than a dynoed one.

The throttle position won't get messed-up by the powercommander, but if you are going to dyno the bike you need to check the setting of it before you go or coz if it's out the money spent at the dyno will be wasted.

What dataloggers you looking at?
