Hand guards do a better job in my experience.
As for grips, look up sickpup on here. He sells good ones. |

Oxford Hot Hands are removable. They get pretty toasty even through my winter gloves and have no thermostat so it's a choice between hot or not. I just relax my grip and let air flow under my hands to cool things down. When it gets really cold I shove the bar muffs on. ____________________ CBT February 2008 | A2 June 2008 | Yamaha YBR125 (written off) | Honda CBF125 (current) |

Right then Mal, you first have to find out which is the ignition controlled live on your bike. Look in a wiring diagram for that, it will be the one connected to the CDI, coils etc when the key is turned....
Here is a diagram, you might want to relay it instead of a direct connection but its too early for relay diagrams

The second fuse is optional but recommended in case anything fucks up. Just an inline fuse is fine. To work out you fuse value use A = P/V
ie, if its a 12 volt system with 24w grips installed, then you have 2 amps of current so a 3 or 5 amp fuse would be appropriate.

if you are buying new oxford ones there is no need to wire them up like that as the will turn off when the battery drops below a certain level.... how ever this means that even when they are off they do draw a small amount of current, over time it is quite a bit and that plus a cold, hard to start motor normally does the battery over. Well it does on my little 250 (which I am pretty sure has the same battery as the 600 ) ____________________ Past: Honda x8rs, Honda City fly, Honda Hornet 250, Honda VFR750, Yamaha xt600e.

It would seem WarmFit isn't trading anymore. The site does give a UK retailer email addy though, so i've mailed them to ask if they still have any sets left. Will update when i get a reply... ____________________ A Guide To Powerbands |

I've got a set of heated grips, they've been sitting on the floor next to the bike for...oooh a good year now. ____________________ Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter won't mind - Dr. Seuss |

22 posts in and Sickpup hasn't mentioned that he now stocks a range of heated clothing? I'm surprised
In light of this, I'll help out. Sickpup now sells heated clothing ____________________ I'm immortal. Well, so far. |
