Hi All
I just bought my Gf a YBR125 and have discovered that it needs the choke to start every time.
Now, it's been a while since I rode a 125 but I don't remember having to have the choke on every time no matter how cold/warm the weather is.
It starts perfectly on the button without choke, but if you try to rev it it just dies.
stick the choke on, it idles high as you would expect and after about a minute you can turn the choke off and it revs freely and happily.
Is that normal? I can understand on a cold morning having to use the choke btu on a hot summers day as it has been recently you still have to do it
the bike is a 2005 ybr, the carb has 2 wires going to it, I haven't got a clue what these do, just want to know out of interest TBH
is it worth cleaning the carb out?
Cheers!

No, it only comes on with the ignition. ____________________ CBT February 2008 | A2 June 2008 | Yamaha YBR125 (written off) | Honda CBF125 (current) |
