You could try swapping the coils over and then see if it does the same thing to the same #1 plug. If it does, then it still sounds like it might be a carb issue, if it doesn't, then it's probably the coil.
Oh, and I take it the very same plugs are in all four pots..? ____________________ A Guide To Powerbands |

It sounds retarded but try and see if the plug is actually working. I bought a set of plugs once and one of them wasn't working so i'd check it even if it is new. Also check that the plug lead is fine

So have you swapped no1 plug for one of the others and the problem stays with no1 cylinder? If yes have you checked the valves?
If the problem is with the plug measure the gap yourself. I had a set of brand new plugs that made mine run like shit because the gaps were all wrong. ____________________ Europe Trip 2009 |
