That looks dead cool, although I'm nay too keen on the tail light. Paint scheme is ace.

Got a side on pic from the same angle as the "before" one, would be good to see a comparison Wink

The tail light is only a quick repalcement, the bike got nicked a few weeks before and trashed so i had to replace it. I can get a pic tomorrow.
Getting a stainless exhaust made by a guy who used to make them for Norton soon, just need to get the money sorted.

Btw the top pic isn't actually my bike, but it is the same year and model. My bike was silver and extremely rusty.

heres one that an american dude did (its a tw200 not the 125)
https://img165.imageshack.us/img165/8338/chunkey67ed2.jpg
the build can be found here

i had a 125 while on ko tau in thailand, it was a good hill climber,
but because of the wide front tyre it was treacherous going down the sandy mountian roads

Expect an update soon. I reshaped the seat and upholstered it with sheep leather. I also painted the tank because the paint I used from halfords was shit.

I think yours would look better with the brace removed from the bars and the speedo mounted centrally as it looks a bit odd where it sits now, oh and maybe a red / bigger tail light as the back end looks a bit 'rushed' - apart from that is ok Wink Laughing

I've got new bars now, put them on just after that pic was taken. I cant mount the speedo central as the ingition is in the way, I'm trying to find a new ignition that I can mount somewhere else.
The back end is still a work in progress, the bike was nicked and they smashed all the lights off so that one is only temporary until I can afford to get a new one.

I think that TW's are really cool apart from everyone I've rode or seen is allways underpowered and feels like is has more grunt to offer but won't.
I never realised people might modify them in such a way... Got me thinking about a project now Smile

If it started out a bit of a shitter then I think it actually looks really nice. I like the way you've removed the seat plastics to just have the subframe and the seat, almost Katana style.

The paint is OK if a little rough and ready which I also like. I'm still undecided on the headlights. The world and their wife have that particular headlight on every streetfighter you've ever seen. Particularly poorly done bandit 'streetfighters'.

Apart from that, you've made a nice looking bike out of a shitter!

If it wasn't a shitter when it started then you've removed a lot of value... but you do say it was rusty as heck in which case... good job! Thumbs Up Smile

{edit} Although I think you should buy some black renthals and bar ends. The gold anodised looks a bit Sick

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

I had a TW225 on Koh Tao too - it was cool! TTR was much better though (see my profile pic!). How long were you there for?

It was a heap when I got it. The swing arm had rust holes in it, the wheels were brown with rust etc. I do want new headlights but havent found the right ones yet. I'm gonna spray the bars today I think, I only got them because they were wider than my renthals.

Btw yes that is a leather seat Razz
