My mate's bike was stolen last night. He's poured a lot of money into this bike and though you might not like the paintjob you have to admit it's a job well done. I re-built the engine about 18mths ago for him and I know how gutted he is over losing this bike.

It's a turbocharged Hayabusa with an intercooled McExpress turbo kit on it. If anyone knows of or sees any part of it please get in touch. It was stolen from the Chelmford area.

Hope the scrotes that nicked it die a slow and painful death Thumbs Up .

Very sadly, it`s almost certain that it will get broken up for spares.

Would`nt be suprised if the trick bits turn up on E-bay USA or some other steal-bay as they know that people will be watching E-bay UK.

Peter,

Can you post up a spec off all the parts that are likely to be sold off of it and I'll keep an eye out, and post up to others that usually look for similar bits Thumbs Up

Ouch, that's a really nice bike, can't imagine how gutted your mate must be feeling Sad

The most horrible part is that the thieves will probably end up wrapping it round a tree, or breaking it up to sell Evil or Very Mad

Hi

If it looks familiar to some people, it was one of the MCN Britain’s Got Biking Talent in 2008 bikes shown at the NEC bike show.

All the best

Keith

I will keep an eye out for it... I'm down in South Essex so you never know, it might pass by.

Sorry to hear that its been stolen, I quite like the painjob and you surely don't see many Hayabusas around.

Will let you know if I see anything.

Not sure why thieves would bother. Much more hassle getting rid of such a distinctive bike.

It's not been nicked by your average scally that's for sure. I wouldn't be surprised if it's been stolen to order and will appear in another country sprayed a different colour. They're popular bikes to mod in the US.

It was taken by the taste police for offending peoples eye sight in a public place.

Seriously though, hope they find it in one piece

You'd be amazed. It could well have been nicked by an average scally to joyride.

You'd be totally amazed how fucking stupid they are and what lengths they will go to to steal a bike just to joyride.

I had a bike stolen from me a few years back. A very distinctive MZ street moto which had been fairly heavily customised and was the only one of that model I'd seen locally. They cut a VERY strong chain using a hydraulic cutter, loaded the bike into a van, took it away and bypassed a 12 lead immobaliser to get it running (effectively re-wiring the whole ignition system). It was found by the police being filled up at a local filling station about three days later. It was so distinctive, they recognised it from my description.

Hi Barry

Engine is largely stock except with stronger conrods (carillo knock-offs). Standard MCExpress turbokit with intercooler. Polished Dymag wheels. Spondon lengthened swingarm (not what you see in the pics) and of course the lairy bodywork. Bound to have fancy brakes and top yoke too but I'll have to ask about that.

Thanks.
