Roit, after the last theft 2 things were broken on my bike. The choke cable and the clutch cable. I have gotten around to giving my bike a good clean today and changed the clutch cable. My bike however doesn't start. Rough order of events :
Gave bike a clean and let the engine run for a bit (Hadn't been started in 3-4 weeks). Started first time and ran happy.
Lifted fuel tank, unhooked fuel pipe, electric cable, and air pipe(?) from the bottom of the tank. Had some fuel leak out of the bottom of the tank as it stood the tank up leaning it back.
Changed clutch cable, took me 20 ish minutes. Yar, I know, slow, it was my first time. Clutch now appears to work. Great.
Put the tank back down and noticed petrol had come out of the cap.
Reconnected all the pipes (deffo all gone on the right places).
Tried to start the bike, and got greeted with 2-3 secounds tops of a running engine then it stopped.
All i get now is the bike trying to start but not actually firing up.
It got left to sit for an hour while I had a cuppa and ordered shopping, came back, had a look, couldn't see anything in the wrong place, but the bike still doesn't want to start.
What have I broken? |

Guessing air in the fuel line is most likely. How does one fix that? |
