Hi, viewed the above tonight and thought it was real nice, only one issues, it is fuel injected but had a manual choke.
I know the bike is cat d so could it be as simple as the original switch was replaced with a cheaper one from an older year or is it possible for fuel injected to have a choke?
Also, how does it restrict?
thanks, Grant ____________________ Ex bikes: 05 Suzuki En 125, '98 Yamaha Thundercat, '08 Honda cbr125, '05 Kawasaki z750, '03 Triumph Daytona 600, '91 Kawasaki ex250, '03 Hyosung Comet 125

It's a fast idle as said by the others, and they restrict fine. Fitted with the worst suspension known to man. ____________________ My Flickr |

It comes with two shocks, standard and an upgrade from a 636 or something, still fully boxed, he said Id need to modify the mount, has anyone got anymore details? ____________________ Ex bikes: 05 Suzuki En 125, '98 Yamaha Thundercat, '08 Honda cbr125, '05 Kawasaki z750, '03 Triumph Daytona 600, '91 Kawasaki ex250, '03 Hyosung Comet 125

My fuel injected CBR600f has an automatic fast idle.
When started cold it idles at about 2.5-3krpm, after it has warmed up (whilst riding it) for about 1-2 minutes it drops down to normal (1.3k ish).
I quite like it, means I can lazily ride out of my street and manoeuvre around the work car park without using the throttle . |

is that not just a choke?
Am I missing something but don't all fuel injected bikes has an automatic choke and so why is a fast idle needed? ____________________ Ex bikes: 05 Suzuki En 125, '98 Yamaha Thundercat, '08 Honda cbr125, '05 Kawasaki z750, '03 Triumph Daytona 600, '91 Kawasaki ex250, '03 Hyosung Comet 125

To idle fast.
Christ, is it hard to get...really?
I makes it idle faster, when an engine is cold, it idles low. It doesn't have a carb you can flick the choke lever on. So you force it to idle faster. |

I use mine to start from cold, it idles quite low anyway so its worth it for me.
That said... I also have a manual idle speed adjuster too |
