Was coming home from work tonight on the 1250, felt as if I had a flat tyre at points, bit wobbly at the front end. Type pressure is fine and wheel seems fine when I put in the centre stand to check for movement.

Sign of the wheel bearings heading out?

When you checked the wheel bearing, did you spin the wheel, and listen for any judders or any ruff spot's, also try and feel any play from side to side or down and up. may be a worn tyre ?

Can't feel anything rough when it's spinning, does not seem to be any movement or hear anything, well I can but it's the pads against the disc, the pads are about 3/4 through, wonder if brakes could be binding.

I will order new pads and bearings just to be on the safe side.

Yeah, checked them, definately coming from low down though. I remember I had issues with the head bearings on a bike before and this is not what I am feeling this time.

Decided to take the wheel off and have a proper look. The bearings are spotless, the dust covers don't even have a scratch on them. No rough bits , smooth as I would expect to be honest.

The pads are a different story, about a year old, rusted to f**k, not cheap ones either. One of the pads on the left caliper required a lot of effort to remove, it was like it was glued in position, only to the caliper body though not the pistons.

I pushed the pistons back to make room for new pads and they appeared free and clean too.
