Heh, I tucked the switch on my HN up under the seat straight out of the crate - they're a known failure point on those bikes.
The CBF125 side stand switch apparently looks like this:

Find it, make it not broken. Give it a clean with WD-40, iso-propyl alcohol, or whatever you have to hand, bit of a wiggle, clean any crud off, see if that gets you going. Worst case you can just remove it and either leave the circuit open or short it, depending on whether the switch opens or closes it with the stand up. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

Agree with paddy, had same problem on my ybr with side stand switch, now disconnected  ____________________ Current: 2005 Kawasaki Er-5 C5P
