got an ns125r and the cylinder has several hairline cracks in it, i have a spare one but im not sure if it will need to be rebored or how much it would be likely to cost, anyone know how i can tell if it needs reboring and/or how much it would likely to be, based in norwich if that helps,

Thanks in advanced Smile

Mick Abbey charge 15 quid per cylinder plus a fiver postage back to you. https://www.two-stroke-addicts.freeserve.co.uk/mick/home.htm

I got mine re-bored and honed for £35 at my local re-bore shop.

Probably best if you either took some good pictures and uploaded them or even take the barrel to a bike shop, most would advise and probably recommend a local place.

What did you get rebored? Sig says you have an RSX100.
As far as I know, that's a plain iron liner in an alloy barel, and CAN be rebored.
NSR as I recall has a Nikasil Chrome bore, which I dont know, but may be plated directly onto the auminium.
Either way, they cant be re-bored.
Two stroke specialist job, to get the barel reconditioned, either a new liner shrunk in, or the old plating removed and new plating put on.
Or its a new barrel.
I doubt very much that it will cost as little as £15...
