just done 3/4's of my CBT
couldn't do the road test as it was too windy
but did get to spend about 45mins on a Zaki ER5 - seems a bit faster than on a CG
bloke told me i can do the roadtest on the 500, due to me being tall etc |

That's unusual, but a nice result.
Downside is that you'll then get the taste for something bigger immediately! ____________________ '12 NC700S & '12 CB600F Hornet [Stolen by some dickless twat] Suzuki GT500 shed |

Chain's too tight, there needs to be at least 3" of sag in it.
That's an interesting question (for very dull and pedantic definitions of "interesting") about riding a big bike on your CBT.
The thing is, I can't put my finger on the bit of legislation that explcitly says that you can legally ride on the road during a CBT. I believe it's implicit that you've provisionally validated your provisional (keep up at the back!) for the duration of the ride.
If so, then your normal provisional entitlement would apply. Hi-vis, L plates and radio contact with a DAS ticketed instructor (with no more than 1 other learner, which applies for the CBT ride anyway) and you're good to do it on a 'Busa. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

I was pretty surprised to be honest
instructor just said, "fancy a go on the ER5?" so i said err OK?! if im honest i thought he was taking the pish, as i didn't think you could
after seeing me fly up an down on it, doing u-turns etc he said "you might aswell use that for the road test as you seem to handle it better than the CG
CG was horrible, it was like riding a bmx with my knees hitting me in the face
i might have to sell/ swap mine as soon as its rebuilt |
