aprilia rs 50 HELP

hi i brought this bike and the only problem is when i turn the key off it dosen't kill the engine but when i looked at the coil box where there is some wires and there one with stop just wondering if anything one could help me out

If you have the RS50 from pre 2007, it may also be a good idea to have someone else push you backwards as you may not get enough speed by yourself.

This is due to the huge compression that is found on a post 2007 engine.

OK, OP:

Does it start with the ignition turned off?

Does it exhibit the bad behaviour if you turn the ignition off shortly after starting up, or does it only do it when the engine is hot?

When you bought it in a pub car park for cash with no V5, was there a screwdriver in the ignition barrel?
