I bought after market chrome switch housings took old ones of now I can't get the new ones on I bought can't find any videos I'm stuck please help

If you MUST, check for the locating tabs into the bars (I assume it's these you are replacing). Some aftermarket ones don't have these. Depending on the fitment (or lack of) it can make your throttle tube move and this is an MOT failure AFAIK.
