Right hand exhaust snapped off at the end, welding is possible but weight reduction with a new exhaust would be a better idea...
rather than trying to get 2 matched as it has 4-2 collector box... is it possible to blank off the left side on the collector box and then just change the right exhaust?
From the image it looks like the collector box links all 4 then the gas decides where it goes.

Pulse reflection would be horrible. Would you buy an exhaust off the shelf that looked like that? No, you would scoff at it and say it doesn't work. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'

That's not really a collector 'box' as you would have with a 4 into 1 system, as a a pair of 2 into 1 Y-Pieces, with a balence - pipe between them....
In a 4 into 1 or 4 into 1 into 2 system, a collector box (or on cars a 'mid box') is a chamber that sort of pretends to be 'free-space' for the 'tuned' bit of the exhaust, the headers, to dump into, and let the pulses 'settle' and the pressure average out a bit, before flowing out through the 'silencer' (s)
A 'Balance Pipe', is just that, a pipe that can relieve pressure between chambers; used commonly on 2 into 2 exhausts on twins, where each pot effectively has its own exhaust, the balance pipe doesn't 'flow' exhaust gasses between the two exhausts, it just makes the space n one exhaust when its NOT flowing 'available' to the other as a resonance chamber, taking some of the 'pressure' n the pipe.
Snowie's Guzzi, has twin exhausts with balance pipe; and the balance pipe is actually a separate tube.. exhaust can be fitted up without it, and the bike fired up.. and you can look at the gap, where chunk of exhaust is missing, and there's actually bugger all smoke coming out of the header tube diameter holes where the balence pipe ought to be!.. quite fascinating actually... at low revs could actually sort of see a wisp of smoke come out and then get sucked back in!
To-Wit.. the answer is 'No'.
As its not a 4 into 1 or even 4 into 1 into 2 system, and that isn't a collector box, blanking off one side, would be more like sticking a bludy great cork up one silencer, and expecting the smoke from that side to flow through the balance pipe, like sticking a road-block on one side of the motorway and hoping all the south-bound traffic will do a U-turn round a junction roundabout and join the north-bound traffic without causing a tail-back! ____________________ My Webby'Tef's-tQ, loads of stuff about my bikes, my Land-Rovers, and the stuff I do with them!
