I think standard length chain will be fine. Katy (Kickstart) has often linked a gearing website that calculates all this out for you.. Edit - which says standard length chain will be fine and sprocket distance is only reduced by 0.14 inches. ____________________ stinkwheel: He had an animated .gif of a cat performing fellatio. It's not socially acceptable. It can have real life adverse effects on other people.

Resulting in an odd number of links, you say? |
Never mind me, apparently the internets is talking about pairs of inner + outer links, so it's only possible to have an even number. I'm a simple Borg, I tend to think in terms of outer links since that's in practice what you'd see and count when it's mounted.
Also: standard length. I've been both up and down a tooth on the front with standard chains, no problems. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.

For one tooth you need approx 4mm adjustment. It'll be fine. ____________________ a.k.a 'Geri'
