Ok i got a new helmet today-tried it on and it fits like a glove (which i got as well). But when i shut the visor-it steams up within 2 secs and reduces visibility by 30%. Any tips-ie- stuff to rub on it or summin or what??? |

Fog City are the way to go in my experience. It works absolute wonders. Mine cost me £15 fitted to the helmet I got in August from HG. ____________________ I must not be a troll...

Hmmm. I guess the best thing to do is trial and error. That way i can see if it works and then how it feels. |

Fog City. Works really well, better than the spray I've used, but . . . .
Motrax Fog Free spray.
The spray has lasted me ages, a couple of squirts on the inside of the visor and a lint free cloth. It does sort of need reapplying every night, but as I said the little can has lasted ages and only costs about £4. |

I use a foggy mask and it works great, when it starts to smell I just put it through the washer. ____________________ Bikes owned: Aprilia RS 125 GP1 2003 (Now sold), Suzuki GSX-r600 1997 (streetfightered), https://www.bikepics.com/members/sychosis/

Washing up liquid, thats what I use and damn its cheep compared to some of the lotions and potions on the market.
Granted it needs reapplying but its a good excuse to clean the visor! ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

Breath out through your nose, air gets directed downwards and out of the helmet, works for me! ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Right-i fitted the 'Fog City' thing and it works perfectly- ta guys! Only problem being that i didn't realise it was a 'smoke' coloured one till i got it home-which means i'll have to get a second helmet with a clear one in-never mind-its not that expensive. |
