hey, just fort id tell you abou these new phones that i brought. they are sony and they cost around £30, i have been trying to get a pair that i can listen 2 music wif for ages and try about 5 different sets. they either fall out as i put my helmet in or can t hear them over my exhaust and other traffic (exhaust is quite load) these were comfortable and even on quiet part of the songs sound good. i brought a iPod shuffle hense why i brought them in white, they come in black aswel i think. the reson that they are so comfprtable is because they come with 3 differnt sized ear phone bits and go rite in the eye cannel (these sound uncomfortable but these is fine, i forget there in my ear...wel except for the music)

This is the address to hav a look:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B000684HRI/qid=1114886972/sr=8-3/ref=pd_ka_2/202-6736401-6229416

Has anyone ever tryed these and if so what did they think. i only have a 'ped at the moment but i think that these would suit most riders. tell me what you think!!!

The only traffic I hear with earplugs in is sirens and horns. Nothing else is particularly important imo. Smile

I read a thread on here a while ago which mentioned the Sony headphones and then ended up getting some of these which are an update version of the ones mentioned above and which also look like they are less likely to come out while riding.

Also bought a set of these throat mics and these radios, so once I finally get my arse in gear I should have a half decent two way bike communication solution.

I had the MX300's which came with my Beatman II, great sound but they are not a good fit for my ears sadly.

To be honest, I haven't tried them yet. Only got them the other week and since then there has always been something that has come up and stopped me from trying them out. Anyway they are essentially the same as the ones you mentioned before, just slightly newer and with the "hook" that loops around your ear (which I should imagine makes them harder to come off).

The Sennheisers I have, I bought for £15, £40 (I think) and I also got a pair of "huge" headphones for £180.

The in-ear style doesn't suit/fit everyone, but if they do they are definately worth buying.

I use the £15 pair for when I'm on the 'ped (soon to be bike) only wear one earphone, and there is a definate knack to getting the helmet on without dislodging the earphone, but once you've got it, they are comfy as hell to wear whilst riding Thumbs Up Cool

I've seen similar things before, though not brand names ones, and been tempted. Ones I saw before we designed more like earplugs and you couldn't remove the rubber bit.

I wonder if you can earphones like the ones we used at training school, they just slot over your ears and the helmet slides over them. Thinking
