When I take my hands off the bars the bike veers right. I've shifted my weight about and it doesn't make any difference.

The forks twisted in the yokes last crash and I thought I sorted them but could it be that? i.e. front wheel not aligned with handlebars.

Cheers in advance.

Would going up big kurbs at an angle mess up the alignment?

Yokes might be twisted, needing adjusted back but theyre probably knackered, frame could have a slight twist.

Mine does this to the left also. i doubt front wheel alignment is to blame as without steering input the front wheel should just point atright forwards no matter if the bars or yokes are twisted.

I think rear wheel alightment is to blame with my bike at least.

You can get wheels laser aligned at some bike shops. they check the alignment, but i think they leave it to you to fix.

Hmm, the forks look straight enough. Realigned the front wheel again, might have been a bit off. I doubt it will make any difference.

Bugger is I angle grinded the centre stand off because it was scrapping the floor so makes it a bit harder to align the rear wheel.

use a couple of Jack stands under the engine area, and use the string method for wheel alignment. as to the forks, i had this on my XJ650 maxim, i loosened the top clamps and heastalk nut and let everything resettle then snuged the top clamps just enough that they still let the fork tubes slide alittle and retorqued the headstock and finnished off the clamps. if it didnt change i would spin one fork tube inside the clamps and see what happen, if there was a change, that told me the forks were bent a hair

good luck
