full arrow system here i come

just droped ma bike down to MPH to get my full arrow system set up on my bike not only will it have the arrow system but there gona stick it on the dyno 2 and set all up and shit, cant wait now should be done by friday i hope i notice a massive improvment seens its costing me 320 pounds i know nige has had his done and he tells me good things anyone else it had it done to theres????

not really its all the bloke did...there was no jl option arrow is still good, lots of people dis the arrow's but it will be my first time with a full system so... cant really moan

arrow pipes are made from mild steel and rust like hell, paint it black with exhaust paint like VHT.

Good choice on the Arrow, they sound miles better than the JL imo, and everyone on the aprilia forum and 125ccsb has JL's. Good to see your not being a sheep and following the crowd.

Get down to motorworld or B&Q and get some heat-proof paint, it may even be labelled as barbeque paint in B&Q, not sure tho. Either way, it will definitely prolong your exhaust's life, especially with winter approaching.

RS arrow exhaust are mild steel, i had a mild steel exhaust on my moped and took one noght of rain to make it not like new (timy little bit of rust) after 2-3 all you could see was rust, i didnt care but makes it look shit, paint it balck before its too late!!!

also JL's stainless singles are only about £240 ish but prob more are you went to a dealer.

Cheapest you'll get a stainless jl for is £234.95 or £259.95 with a carbon can.

Not a bad exhaust, i felt it gave a decent midrange boost in conjunction with a V-force3 reed block, definitely get it painted though, especially with the winter coming.

VHT paint is available in most bike shops for about £8. No primer needed, you just rub it back to the metal if needed and put on a few coats. Excellent stuff, helped me sell my 2 stroke. Its a spray paint, so you have to mask off areas.

5 coats with half an hours drying time in between each coat should keep it good for 6 months, but honestly I wouldn't worry until you see it deteriorating (sp), if you take good care of it I'd imagine it will be OK for quite a while.
