Got the carb out of my NSR125, need to know where/how to set needle 1 setting lower. Where is it ????????

Are you sure you need to set the needle lower though? I would have thought you needed to raise it to help in the midrange, considering you have a 190cc kit. Confused

Yeah Stan Stephens said for more mid range power it needs to be richer . Hence lower it one . It was on the second from top anyway when it should have been in the middle . Now it aint working properly at all Sad(

The needle needs to be higher to richen up the midrange. Standard is 3rd groove, I think he meant lower the clip, not the needle. It should have gone on 4th groove from the top. The problem you have might be due to running lean. I would be concerned with damage to the piston if you still have the problem. Running lean = running hot. Not a good situation.

Yeah i put the clip on the 3rd (middle) notch but had this problem with the spluttering so i put it back on the second and its doing it on that setting now Sad New piston has only just been ran in Thumbs Up
