Well, sounds like your vacuum fuel tap is not working as it should. No fuel should be able to run out of the carbs when the engine is off.
It is not uncommon for there to be a leaky needle valve on modern Japanese bikes but you don't notice it because of the vacuum fuel tap. When the tap fails, you suddenly get fuel pishing out.
I would switch the fuel off when parked for the time being. If fuel is overflowing through the needle valve, it can run down into the engine and fill up your sump with petrol. Which is obviously not a good thing. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”

I suppose they are getting on now but yes, I would include that in ther 'modern' category.
Might just be a sticky float. Any way of giving the carb a few sharp taps to free it off? (I usually use a nylon hammer for this) ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. That's when things happen. That's when you find out everything you want to know.”
