 |
|
Right with it being the festive season and being off work, I decided to do some maintainence on the CB.
I have adjusted the chain, and am wondering if people think its too tight.
I have got a video of the free play.
Also I decided once and for all to sort the rear mudguard out which was holier than swiss cheese, and I couldn't get a new one from Honda UK as they are out of production with the bike being over 10 years old and David Silvers could get a new one for £70 from Honda Brazil (whom originally made the bike) but it'd have taken 3 months to get atleast so they quoted.
So I decided to use some Glass Fibre Metal repair stuff and this is how it turned out:

It doesn't look half bad, and hopefully it'll stop the frame rails corroding, which is eventually what happens after the mudguard has corroded as it lets the water in (In Honda's wisdom they used a metal mudguard under the rear wheel, geniuses aren't they!).
Its paint black now and looks OK, can't be arsed sanding it and filling it like I should not like people see it is it!

er well erm
the mechanics a tosser with nowt else better to say, its a first service, what dya expect .
ok so here somes the checks and when
question, how often do you wash your bike?
if every week there you go,, check tyres, tyre preasure., break wear, chain tension and lubeness
and pretty much all you can check,, safety wise.,,. ____________________ There is no point in ranting about someone stupid because there is nothing u can do about it. There is no cure for stupid.
Someone stupid does not realise they r stupid.stupidity is indistinguishable from malice U just have to accept that some people are thick as p1gsh1t and work around them. |
