Identify a bike for me...

I get burnt off by a chap just about every night on my way home. Due to our somewhat different relative speeds, I only ever get a good look at the rapidly diminishing back of his bike .

It's some fancy-schmanzy thing with an under-seat radiator, and it's most striking feature is that it's got two humping big yellow cooling fans sticking right out of the rear of the bike, in a kind of comedy this-bike-works-underwater kind of way.

Anyone know what it is?

They could have made the fans black so that they would blend in better and didn't make such an obvious impact....

Only one i've seen is in a showroom (Earnshaws in Huddersfield) and its £22k or something or have i miss-read the price tag?)

If it was going really fast and beating you every time then it was probably a CBR125 with iridium sparkplugs.

I believe the Benelli Tornado Tre LE (LE being limited edition) is the £20k bike and they also made a none limited version.

You mean the guy (girl) actually uses a Benelli tornado every day to commute on?

Impressive for a bike for which even it's idle speed has a mind of it's own!

At first I thought the Tornado was ugly but it has grown on me.

And as you can get them new for about £6k it is getting tempting.
