Well, im at bath uni and wanted to sign up to a sports club but due to breaking a few bones april ive been told that contact sport is really not a good idea and im going to listen as i dont think i could go though breaking anymore bones anytime soon.
The sports fair had to be one of the most depressing things ive done lately as the ONLY two sports i can do that dont envolve contact or lots of running or sitting for long periods of time were artery and Rifle club.
Anyways, i joined the rifle club as although a bit geeky someone to do outside and hopefully will be a way of getting my mind off things. They mainly go clay pigeon but also go to army ranges and do target etc. (i used to go out for a blast on the bike to take my mind off things but dont have one anymore )
Anyways, what i wanted to know was has/does anyone here shoot? If so whats it like and any tips?? ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |

well i used to go clay pigeon shooting when i was younger, had my own over & under which was left-handed of course (we're a better species us lefties ).. i wasn't very good mind you.. used to just do down the line never tried skeet... it was fun nevertheless...
used to have a trap and my uncle used to live on a farm so we got clays and done it in a field as well, which was nice.. but clubs are good, the guy at the club could shoot from his waist and hit anything! what a legend!
as for tips, well always aim a bit in front of the clay and keep following it after the trigger is pressed, but of course that;s obvious stuff. |
