The roads were pretty empty - shame I no longer have a bike to enjoy them Crying or Very sad

I don't really like football either - but me and a few mates ran an extension lead out to a local park from one of our houses - and lay on the grass drinking beers watching the match in the sun, quality Thumbs Up Laughing

I know I'm certainly in the minority here being a footy fan... but I heard the final whistle in the Czech Republic v Ghana game, grabbed my leathers, went for a blast around the Peaks, and got back in the house just as the Italy v USA game was about to kick off. Even us footy addicts can work around the punishing World Cup schedule Smile

The Helmsley to Stokesley road - the B1257 Wink

I don't like it at all - but it has the lot, hills, dips, blind bend, open sweepers... It is a biking hotspot with a very high police presense.
