Good stuff. Split the money you get from it between two bikes if you can, one track bike you can rag the crap out of and one you can polish at the weekend to satisfy your other need! Wink Thumbs Up

Exactly - both bikes are to be more rewarding to ride - whatever the weather.

Cheers Davers Thumbs Up

Maybe I should have got a 6 for more fun/thrashability/use, but may still be a little worried of getting one dirty. This way, I hope to buy a pair of bikes.

Seriously, how much time do you spend cleaning your bike!?

Shocked

I cannot believe how clean that is, looks as if it's never even seen a piece of tarmac. Good luck with the sale mate, I'm sure you'll have no problem getting rid of it, really is a beautiful example of an early Blade.

Thumbs Up

I think I'll have to read up some of your comments about cleaning, I get my new fairing either thursday or friday so while the bike's naked I'll be giving the old girl a thorough going over.

I've ridden a tatty, manky looking ZXR for a year now and I've finally managed to source a mint condition Green/White/Blue fairing for £260 for EVERYTHING, Very Happy. I actually cant wait, although admittedly I dont particularly like the colour scheme it'll be so nice to have a bike that finally looks OK.

Need to buy myself a tube of Autosol now...

Nope, the apparent 'spamming' by putting "not YZF, ZXR, etc" in the title. Confused

lol, and that I thought that was quite sparse in comparison the the RVF's life story. Wink

I'm thinking of getting another NC30 for country lane kicks as well an ---------(as yet undecided)------------- everyday bike, maybe a supermoto'ed 'crosser.

I guess the standardisation was the beginning of the end, now I look back. Oh well, it was fun fiddling with the bike for another week.

The next bike(s), an NC30 and https://www.bikechatforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=93021

Just a thought.... but why not something like a ZXR4 or GSXR4? You've 'Been there done that ' with the NC30's, maybe you could move on to an entirely different bike altogether?

I'd love to see what a ZXR4 would look like in your hands, Drooling.

Maybe as a second bike runaround, but the NC30's the primary choice for me. Just don't get me started on another "400 V4's are great because..." Wink think most BCFers have had enough of my ramblings on that issue Eh?

Simply, I guess I've always wanted another since my last was written off a few years back.

Have you ridden a ZXR4?

Purely out of curiousity, Thumbs Up.

Test rode one yonks ago before my Bandit 400. Wasn't really the bike for me at the time (wasn't used to the sportsbike setup). To be honest, it wasn't much of a test as I didn't really have the experience to know what I was doing on such a bike - just felt a bit alien. I've had a Gullarm since, but found the engine a bit gutless and ultimately not my cup of tea, hence why I traded it for the RVF.
