A-Level Results

Hi all,

Just making a post to see if im the only one on bcf who got his A-level results today, I got B, B, C, C. Not what i was hoping for but enough for my offer to Brunel to be accepted and confirmed.

I am in two minds about how i should be feeling... I have got what i NEEDED to get, to get where im going Razz

.... but BBCC aint 4 A's, But then if i am truthfull i did about a week of revision so i suppose you pays your money and takes your chances...

Anyone else here got good/bad news?

I only got As grades but i got B,C,D,D,E

Wasnt too bad i have another year.

Just waiting to find out if the missus got into Nottingham!

Yep if you pull your finger out for the A2 you can turn nearly any AS grades around, congrats, and goodluck to the wifey also.

Well done to you all for sticking it through with them, and good luck in whatever you choose to do next, and remember if your off to uni, as long as they get you on the course you want, that's all you need. People just look at the degree after that! Wink

Well done those who got their results, MementoMori don't be disheartened, clearances mean people can get onto university courses without the 'required' grades, and you can always retake if needs be. Thumbs Up

I'm waiting for mine to be posted home - I was supposed to be on holiday so couldn't collect them. Sick

Screw GCSEs, 5 Cs and you're sorted - just enough to get into A levels. Universities never look at them, and any job that doesn't require A level qualifications doesn't require GCSE qualifications either.

I got CCC for my A level exams. Mr. Green

Well, even though i decided to take my exams 7 days before they were AND i wasnt at college from April AND i had my pelvic rack on while i sat the exams AND on a whole load of pulls including these coll morphine based ones and sleeping pill i got.......

B in Maths
C in Chem
C in Physics

Im super chuffed and Bath have even offered me a place doing Chemical Engineering (what i want to do) and dont have to take a gap year!!!!!!!!!

Is a bit of a shock as been dreading the year out as i know i would waste it! Im really happy!!

I got CCD this year in A2 and Coventry Uni have accepted me to do a History BA Hons degree.

Whens everyone going uni leaving? I'm moving to coventry on Sept 23rd...

Not exactly the same...cos I did my A'Level qualifications yonks ago, but recently qualified from my Trinity Cert TESOL course, I passed but dont know the grade, and still awaiting the certificate!

So Im no longer a student...but an out of work over qualified Graphic Designer/Youth Counsellor/Youth Worker/English as second language teacher....

National diploma in graphic design with a Merit, Merit, Pass and photography with a C.

So i have Equivilent of B,B,C,C at A level

Start my degree journey this year.

Hell yeah, being at Coventry I bet I have to share a flat with a bunch of Muslims plotting to blow up a plane or something.

I bet I end up doing all the cooking as well, just cause I can.

I think our flats are both male and female though, so should be good, they can stay in the kitchen or something. Laughing
