Motorbike PDA mount

Does anyone use one? I have a PDA so i decided to get tom-tom software for it, now i want to mount it to the bike, but not sure how to. I have seen this

IMO your pda will be absoloutely FARKED in no time at all..

I'd go for a RAM mount, more dampening, more options and well built.. it needs as much dampening as you can give it..

i'm affraid pdas + massive vibration + rain = dead pda
Touratech probably do something that would make it useable but it'd not be cheap!

Actually stupidly a tankbag would be a more practical and safe (for the pda) soloution

i agree with the tamkbag option, i used one for mine and it worked a treat, even better if you have the waterproof cover for the bag

i've got a waterproof bag thing for it (aquapac) but yes i did consider the tank bag but thought i have to actively look down to see where i've gotta go next? Which must be fairly dangerous.

which claims to be vibe free and i have a ouring screen which it should be able to fix onto without hitting the clocks as its quite tall

Thats the dissadvantage with it, allthough the audio jack is more usefull than the display ime.. quick glance is all i can seem to get while moveing, usually look while at lights e.t.c.

I did also try one of those plastic bag things, worked sort of, but it as tricky to see through (best i could get wasn't 100% clear)

If you do go for a sucker thing then make sure theres a line to catch it! cause it will fall off at some point

its a tupperwear box and a ram mount, 99% waterproof (only the cable feed in could let any in, sillicon sealant would fix that) if you got a bigger sized box similar to the pda, cut it a perspex window, use foam and cut it a pda shaped space, appart from feeing in power (i used a bmw accessory plug cause there waterproof and nice and tidy) thats about it!

I used a RAM mount too. If you want waterproof, consider an otterbox.

I have the waterproofing covered just fixing it to the bike thats the main thing. I like the tuppaware box idea tho, then fill it so ipaq doesn't move

I'd suggest this one..
(ram101uac1) according to the parts number thing.. then a suitable box if thats the plan.. (certainly the cheeper option, and the foam should cut out any serious vibes however unsightly)
