Hello!
I have just aquired a YZF 750 engine for the project i'm working on. Very Happy
This has probably been asked before, but does anyone know about rejetting the carbs for use without the exup valve?
Which sizes etc? Maybe needle heights?
As they dont like to run low down the rev range without the valve.
Either that or im gonna have to find some exup headers whish don't come cheap. Rolling Eyes
Add to that, i'd have to get the servo and cables. Confused

to get the best out of jetting a bike it needs to be done on a dyno

each bike is different get it on a dyno first and see what it is fueling like and see what the operator recommends

I may be wrong, but running without the exup is going to need a fair bit of setting up. You'll probably get some answers at the Exup Brotherhood.

Is pretty much what i expected. Rolling Eyes
Still gotta collect the engine, and am still at project stage, so nearer
the time i'll look into it more.
Already on Exupbrotherhood and a couple of other FZR/Exup forums.
Get there eventually i hope! Wink

The engine i'm getting hasnt got the exup servo, headers and valve etc. Confused
I dont think anyway, as he fitted a thunderace engine and probably used some parts.
I'm just looking into the best way round the exup, or if needs be get the parts i'm gonna need to restore it to the fully working exup.
