I had a similar problem recently I borrowed somebody's clock (its one of those manual analogue ones not a electronic one) , and his worked ok mine didn't it also tripped the fuses (bistables) in the house each time it came on...
Replaced the pump (myself) , and the clock cost me £50 problem went away ...
But there is another tricky way around it as I saw in HK where 'boilers' are plugged into the mains via a special socket like ovens...
is to go out to Maplins or something and buy a socket timer thing and just have it switched on all the time and have the socket timer turn it on and off. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die.
