it certainly sounds like your battery has had its day. if its more than 3 years old change it anyway as it will be a lot better.
as for your flasher unit look for a silver one as well as a black one as it can be either
if you can, follow a wire back from the indicator to find it. ____________________ ZX636C6F road. ZX636C1H track. ZX7R redundant. ZX0.5R minimoto as ornament.

when you are revving the motor the volts go up so the flashers are getting what they want, hence they are working fine.
at low revs your 'knackered' battery can not cope.
best to get a volt meter on it.
12v should read at least 12.5v WITHOUT the bike running.
13v+ with it running over 5000rpm
6v should read at least 6.2v without the bike running
nearly 7v+ running over 5000rpm
my guess is yours will be under its volts with the ignition off  ____________________ ZX636C6F road. ZX636C1H track. ZX7R redundant. ZX0.5R minimoto as ornament.

im gonna try a new battery or "12v supply" tomos to see if the indicators work with a decent battery on also i will check conections as wel just to make sure
thanks for your help ill have a update tomos
and i hope they will work with a non trashed battery cos otherwise it gets complcated with resistors and relays  |
