Air on a G string.
It is one of my funeral songs.
There's plenty of classical songs that stir emotions, not sure of names but I know what I like and what I don't. ____________________ Current : MSX 125 Past : CBR 900RR Monkeybike : c50 LAC : ZXR750 H2 : FZR600 : ZX7R P3 : YW100 : TRX850: Trophy 900 T309 : GSXR 600 L0: Monkeybike : XJ6S Whosthedaddy |

Last sleep of the Virgin. My favourite piece of all time and I only recently discovered it. The only version on youtube is shit quality, I'll email you it.
Everytime I listen to this one, I well up. Was played at my Grandads funeral. https://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=Fo0K_n3VLG4
For just general classical music, I like:
- Tivoli-Rutsch-Walzer Op 39
- Serenade In G, K.525 "Eine Kleine Nachmusik" 2nd Movement
- Humoresque in G-flat Major, Op. 101, #7

Uhhhh, I can't spell my own contribution.
"Iries dae"
Dunno, cant find it on google or youtube, so obviously I am mis-spelling it somehow.
Somebody smarter than me (?Shaggy?) might know what I mean. I think its either Wagner or, um, someone starting with B, or maybe R. LOL ... fukkit, shut up Jen, digging myself a hole here
The first two minutes is very well known, used a lot for ads and some films ... its my favourite piece of music. ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

The Planets by Holt is very good. Mars is perhaps my favourite. Star Wars theme is always good , as is Imperial March.
My Dad loves anything by Mario Lanza. Ave Maria was played at my Nan's funeral (not Lanza's version though) not so long back so is a touching song for us.
I really like Hayley Westenra. She does some more modern-style stuff too. ____________________ H100 Breaking for spares |

I'm rather fond of La Donna e Mobile.
Especially when sung by Pavarotti and Elephants
I can't remember the name of the film, but there is a FANTASTIC fight scene which runs for the entirety of La Donna e Mobile. Incredible. ____________________ Not nearly as interesting in real life. |

My little sister. She gets loads of crap from me skitting her and the like.
she has been all over Europe and won loads of stuff. She has been taught in Italy France and Germany by some of the top people. It is all tosh to me, but the people in the opera circles thinks she has promise. Cow earns a fortune as well.
