Bike in gear but not moving

HI just changed chain & sprockets, put everything back in correct order, and double checked. Now the bike will not pull forward when in gear. I can even move the rear wheel by hand when the bike is up on its centre stand and in gear.

The bike is an 97 bandit 600 S.

Any input would be great thanks AJ

Is your front sprocket done up to the correct torque and is it into the splines on the output shaft properly?

Thanks for reply big ham, evertything torqued down correctly. I pulled front sprocket towards me by 2mm and that seems to have done the trick. Just did a 25 mile test along b and a roads and working fine. Again thanks for your input AJ

Umm did you just move the sprocket by hand to make it work? If so then you need to take a closer look - I sense impending doom!

Was there a spacer on the rear of the original front sprocket? If not you are in for some wallet pain.

If the sproket is only on the shaft by2 mm things will turn into swarf.
