 |
|
just looking on the net at handlebar or fairing mounted speaker systems for bikes...?
i quite fancy one but was wondering if anyone has actually done this?
the set i was looking at would have a 5" subwoofer and two 4" mid and treble speakers.
Now the ad claims there still very audible even at 100mph+? im scepticle however....
saying that id love to be able to play my music in ambiance as aposed to an ipod in my ears, which in all fairness is probably ruining my hearing
if anyone could offer me any help, i have a vfr400 nc30
advice greatly appreciated.
thanks guys |

there are also volume controls on the front, and i have a full stainless exhaust system which isn't 'too' loud. i think if they just clip onto the handlebars it could be worth a go...although im tinkering with the idea at the moment i was just seeing if anyone else had ever done or even considered doing this?
could just end up sticking with the good old iphone and earphones |

lol fair enough!
like i said was just tinkering with the idea
i think the sound of a healthy v4 400 wrapped in stainless steel exhausts is better music anyhow
thanks for the comments.
i can now assume this topic closed. =D

cheers,

I was more concerned with the inability to even go round corners. Its probably a wheelie machine with car batteries in the back! |

Helmet speakers would be good idea if you commute, something to break the bordom on motorways. I've tried normal headphones and hate them in my helmet as they move too easily. Personally I just use ear plugs though |
