Tried these?
https://www.screwfix.com/prods/96028/Van-Car-Accessories/Sockets-Hex/Irwin-5-Piece-Bolt-Grip-Nut-Remover-Set
Worked a treat when I rouned the hex out of a clurch slave cylinder bolt. Tried all the other options and couldn't get it to budge. These had it out in a jiffy. Well worth the money as was considering taking it to a mechanic to have ot drilled out and tapped again

Re-tighten the other bolts holding whatever it is on, this will reduce the pressure on the bolt a little making it easier to turn, not by much but every little helps
Then as above i would go with the torx idea, worked brilliantly for me
