is it recessed or raised? dome headed or shank headed? whats it holding on? usually i remove all other bolts and take off whatever there holding on. May have to carefully drill out the head of the bolt, but you should be able to get some pliers on the remaining stud.

Or try hammering a 6pin tork head into the bolt, and use a ratchet to remove. Much less chance of wearing bolt heads this way.

Tried these?

https://www.screwfix.com/prods/96028/Van-Car-Accessories/Sockets-Hex/Irwin-5-Piece-Bolt-Grip-Nut-Remover-Set

Worked a treat when I rouned the hex out of a clurch slave cylinder bolt. Tried all the other options and couldn't get it to budge. These had it out in a jiffy. Well worth the money as was considering taking it to a mechanic to have ot drilled out and tapped again Rolling Eyes

Hi,
as previously mentioned i'd hammer in a torx bit & remove it with my screwdiver or impact driver/bit set.
if that failed i'd use the dremel cutting disc method. (i like the dremel, lol)
attach a cutting disc to the dremel & cut a nice clean slot into the head of the bolt.
then use a long, flat bladed screwdriver or the impact driver with a screwdriver bit.
if all that fails, then i'd just use a pointed grinding stone bit on the dremel & grind the head of the bolt completely off.
remove whatever the bolt is holding on.
then remove the stub of the bolt using the dremel & cutting disc method.
penetrating fluid left on overnight always helps.
cheers,
GAZ

Re-tighten the other bolts holding whatever it is on, this will reduce the pressure on the bolt a little making it easier to turn, not by much but every little helps Laughing

Then as above i would go with the torx idea, worked brilliantly for me Thumbs Up
