I need the seals replacing on the left shock. That's all that needs doing. I'll live with it 'til I get new shocks next year. |

speedo & rev counter bulbs need replacing - can't be assed, plus it improves your night riding by not looking at them all the time |

My bikes on its original fork springs and rear shocks..its 29yrs old
Hole in left silencer(puncture wound ! )
Rear shoes near wear limit
I love this little bike, even tho riding corners and bumps are a new experience with boingy-ness in abundance. That said, the chassis does really well(Tubular, with engine part of the frame) So it still doesn't get too lairy
Front Springs £20
Rear Shocks £44-£200
Rear shoes £8
Exhaust £?? can't find any originals (have phoned around aswell)

ZX10R: Engine buggered, need to replace all bodywork too.
ZXR750: RH front indicator came off (means the RH rear doesn't flash either), clutch slipping occasionally when giving it the beans. ____________________ Current: ZZR1400

Could right a books worth of stuff i need to do!
Carbs balance
Fix leak from oil sump gasket
New oil filter
New bulb in clocks
Have no front brake dust seals at all!
Have no front brake switch
Front tyre verging on illegaly low
Rear tyre has an un-nerving cut across the width of it
Front right indicator has no orange lense bit and is in the process of falling off
Rear right indicator in the process of falling off
Both end cans leaking very badly
Need a new cush drive
I dont think my licence plate light works.
Need to check valve clearences idealy, no idea when they were last done.
Need to put proper anti-freeze in the rad instead of just boiled water.
Need to either change or tighten up the head race bearings
Both brake levers bent, although both perfectly useable.
Neither brake is very strong, slows down well enough to be honest, but no real bite to them.
Anyway, i have no money to sort any of those problems so i will just have to live with them and hope i dont get pulled over any time soon i guess.

Check the headlamp aim, I get flashed at night even when on low beam. MOT's due next month, so it's something I actually must do.
Due for an oil change. Might do that next week.
Although the braking's fine, I should get some new pads up front as they are getting low.
Probably should check the head bearings, felt an ever so slight donk during the week.
Speedo sometimes sticks until I go over 30. Thought that had gone away, but it did it again this week.
One of the bolts holding the air filter cover on had to be drilled out when I last changed the filter, so it's now being held on by cable ties and duct tape. Cosmetic, but would be nice to sort.
One bulb in the tacho has gone. Cosmetic.
Nothing an afternoon of pottering in the garage wouldnt cure. ____________________ Chances are quite high you are not in my Monkeysphere, and I don't care about you. Don't take it personally.

New chain and sprockets.
Backlight in the speedo doesn't work.
Trip counter resets itself every time I turn the ignition off.
Carbs balancing.
Valve clearances checking.
Ohlins rear shock needs a service.
Would like to powdercoat the wheels and fit some R1 USD's and a few carbon bits. ____________________ www.southwestbikers.com
