Which kind do you use and how much would you rate it?
Reason why I ask, is yes everyone sweats an my normal 'Nivea/Dove' works well however as soon as I put on a tightish top (clubbing stuff) I get sweaty pits and its really putting me off buying new girly tops.
My local is a 5 min walk, and just walking that far I get wet pits
Embarassed so I keep my jacket on for the night.
Am due a makeover to get rid of the hoodys/t-shirts ect and am ment to go to a 'launch' night next month so I have to look the part.
I dont smell Laughing just sweaty.
Ive used Mitchem and that doesnt seem to work any better then what I use.
Would Male Deo work better then the female stuff on the market?
Louise

I use either a Lynx or Sure liquid roll-on anti-perspirant for when I'm at work and it seems to work fairly well.

At home I just use a spray on anti-perspirant, usually Lynx Instinct. Keeps me smelling nice for most of the day.

I use ASDA essential care moisture rich, or Tesco original moisture enriching. Works fine for me all day.

Until they stopped making it I used Ben Sherman anti-perspirant. That shit was strong, yet it smelled lovely! I hoarded it as long as I could but I haven't found any for a year or two.

Now I use either Gilette Cool Wave or Sure 24 hour anti perspirant spray (they make a female equivalent Sure).

Sure is particularly good because it works a bit like pepper spray. You use it to batter your armpits into submission, which makes them afraid to sweat for the rest of the day! Carry a small one in your bag to threaten them further throughout the night.

There are disadvantages; it stings like a bitch if you're not used to it. Also, avoid black tops! For me it is the best stuff to stop sweat, though.

Sure roll on or Right Guard spray.

Lynx is rubbish.

I find lynx is crap, doesn't last very long and the smell wears off really quick. I used Right guard extreme but they have changed the smell of them now and after a few hours the smell turns rancid Sick

Best i've found is Addidas anti-perspirant, not sure if they do a female equivalent but i'd imagine they do. It smells more like a deodorant rather than an anti-perspirant and the smell lasts all day leaves no white marks either, reccomend it highly!

Isn't Lynx just a deodorant, not an anti-perspirant, therefore only designed to mask smell not stop you sweating. I use whatever I stumble across aslong as it is an anti-perspirant.

Lynx is just for people who like a shower in a can, or who are dumb enough to believe the adverts saying it will get them the ladies.

I used to use Mitchum, but now use the Gillette Clear Gel - it handles my pit fountains all day, smells OK, but it is a bit pricey.

Im a teacher and getting a class of boys after PE makes me gag. They substitute Lynx for a shower and then tell me it "smells well nice, miss!"

I normally use Dove because I am a sensitive soul. Boots used to sell this stuff that claimed to stop you sweating, you apply it and leave it for a few days. I have no idea how it works, pit superglue was my best guess. Its pretty expensive and comes in a little roll on bottle thing but people I work with swear by it.

I like the dance girl by sure and dove original. They work ok for, I am so picky with smells and hate smelling like some gym freak of back street whore. So clean fresh smells are good.

I use Perspirex once a week (usually after a shower on a sunday night) which apparently numbs the sweat glad in your pits. I then just use whatever deodorant I choose and I get no problems what so ever.

Same here. After trying quite a few anti-perspirants I found that this one was the only one that stopped it. Thumbs Up

+11 on Right guard, and once a week having some kind of aluminium-rich based sweat retardant. I can't remember the one I've got now, but it works wonders.

Only one thing you want to bear in mind though, some researchers have linked aluminium deodorants to breast cancer.

I shower daily, sometimes twice. Perhaps that's why I don't smell.

when do you put on deodorant?

i'm a sweaty git (thank fook i rarely smell) and I have found if I apply just before bed i'm fine for the next 24hrs.

apply one a morning and i'll be wet within hours.

i even tried that new Sure one that is the dryiest you can buy thats £4-5 a bottle and it says apply on a night, something to do with the chemicals needing time to settle.

I use a cream from boots. I used to suffer really badly with sweat. I could have a shower and by the time I've walked out of the bathroom I would smell again. I can't remember the name of the cream but it's in a little tub with a blue lit. You put a bit on your finger and rub it into your pit when you get out of the shower. It's awesome 100000 out of 10.

I use the Dove Little Black Dress deodorants - I find the roll on more effective than the spray on, but both can be uncomfortable if you've just done your pits.
