Couldn't agree more, if they understood just how disillusioned the majority of the Uk are with their inept, greedy, corrupt mis-management of anything more complex than wiping their own arses, they might just do something about it. As long as they continue to live in denial, thinking that they are doing a wonderful job, thankyouverymuch, then this country will continue to degenerate into a stiking chav infested s**t pile.
Cheers

They have the vast majority shuffling around the pavements, shops, service stations and airports like zombies, all looking down at their feet, constantly worried about their beliefs, their cash, the authorities and the scum that wandering about with us. Meanwhile they are driven from AtoB to gatherings of like minded 'educated' blazer wearing cunts, where they eat their way through our hard earned non existent paper, talking about the futile attempts of civilians.
Human psychology has been worked out to the endth degree, its utilised in the most basic of ways in advertising electronic room fresheners so when it comes to what you see and do around you they're closing in. The system is 5 steps ahead and while you're happy finding loop holes in road tax and planning permissions they've fucked your children and your children's children.

Wealth does that to people, you don't have to be a politician to be so wealthy that the need to hold a grasp on reality no longer exists. I've met a lot of these rich non working types over the past 18 months.
I read an article the other day and wish I hadn't, top 10 richest tories or something along those lines. Anyone in the top tiers of the political class is exceedingly wealthy, usually with another great whack to inherit when whatever successful parents they have pop their clogs.
Politics is just a high powered game to play, massage the ego a bit for a few years to pass the time, before retiring in obscene luxury to hell with anyone else.
Why on earth would they care what we think?
It's apparently easy to convince a voting majority in this country, helped of course by the ridiculous first past the post system. I can only conclude that most people are massively stupid or just happy in their ignorance.
Labour won some scottish constituency election thing last week didn't they? I mean really, after everything, what in the fuck is going on.
Until the greed is removed from politics nothing will change for the 'greater good' (if there is such a thing). To remove the greed, you would have to instill a change in basic human nature (if you pay them more, you would attract greedier cunts, if you pay less nobody would do it), so we are basically fucked for the thing ever improving.

Which tends to maintain my conviction that the only hope is death and never having to have to come back to this sewer.
Despite my repeated attempts to convince myself there is hope and that something can be done, I'm fvcking kidding myself, aren't I.
I've recently begun to entertain the notion that the human race was created by ET as a DNA R&D project. It would explain a lot. I don't think we are natural/native to this universe. No mechanism such as the universe is could possibly spawn a species like the human race, it just doesn't gel. Animals yes, but intelligent ones? We had to have been engineered by a 3rd party. And what a fvcking mess they made of it. Truly, an utter shambles. We cannot evolve out of this mess, and that was never a possibility right from the start. The end was inevitable all along.
The only hope is that consciousness is eternal and death is an escape. And if it's not, well, that won't matter then. ____________________ "There's the horizon! Ride hard, ride fast and cut down all who stand in your way!" |

I think the best example is Michael Portillo (who is no longer a politico) in that for 2-3 months a year (they get 3 months off for summer vacation so there is plenty of time) they are to live on the NMW and work for it like everybody else, on a typical NMW standard of living ie pokey flats , terrible food and 1/3 of it taken in tax before it hits their bank account.
There is a trend of back to the floor arrangements where the board of directors spends a week working on the shop floor and a week in the behind the scenes part of the company.
Such that they get a feel for how it really is and how to make changes and improvements.
It would form a sort of reconnection, such that if they wanted their 2-3 months a year to be better then they would strive to improve society and living conditions of poor people to make it better.
Its like share options.... exes are motivated to improve company performance to jstify their rewards rather than just get fat bonuses (this is part and parcel of the combined code of the listing requirements of the FTSE)
Either that or after they are booted out they are to live on NMW with bank accounts frozen for a period of 18 months...
If they improve the daily lot of the working man their 18 months sevitude is comfortable, if they make it worse then they only have themselves to blame. ____________________ Spain 2008France 2007Big one 2009 We all die. These people will think everything is going swimmingly as long as there are no demonstrations, mass civil disobedience, threats or media hysteria.
Most of us are somewhat put off demostrating as sitting on tarmac for 6+ hours surrounded by cops with the very real threat of a beating or state murder isn't a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon.
They've got the bases covered. Make demos intimidating, no demos, no problem!
The only way to defeat the beast is by eating away at it from the inside, like the Muslims and BNP are.
If there was one person, with their feet on the ground, with a vision, morals, intelligence, compassion and no fear of telling the fucking truth... who managed to get in, a real person, what a delight.
As WG says... it is a matter of greed. I'm sure they start off in politics for good reasons, then slowly, they get to be just like the rest of them. Beaten down and paid off by the men in the shadows. ____________________ BCF's 6th favourite poster 2009-2010

Agree with this, as a 'people' we can/could be very powerful. However, it would require a dedication that I doubt we would be able to muster.
I'm sure fight club mentioned something like "its only after we've lost everything, that we are free to do anything". It's over the top but its a nice quote, and relevant.
You have to be prepared to lose your stuff, your vehicle, your consumer goods, your house, your freedom (prison), your health, your relationship with your friends/family, possibly your life.
You'd turn up, ready to go to do your bit, and you'd be hung out to dry by every other cunt who didn't quite care enough to show, opportunity cost of missing X-factor.
Truth be told, do you really give that much of a shit, do I? As hetz points out, it might be nice to consider that this is merely a stage, a test, a dream, an experiment, a fleeting second, a path to a better place.
Or we might just wind up in a box in the ground after 80 years in which case it wouldn't matter anyway, and we might wonder to ourselves why did we bother our arses getting so wound up.
This apathy of course, is just what they want. There is no winning. ____________________ So in other words, he stopped you for being flagrantly in posession of a motorcycle in direct contravention of the Hippies, Darkies and People Whose Face I Don't Like The Look of (Police Powers) Act. 1976 |
