Most important thing on the u turn or any other slow manouvere is to control the speed with the back brake the whole time. Literally ride the back brake and let the power pull the bike against it, you will be FAR more stable.
You will have to do a u turn in your test I think and I cannot believe it's impossible to U-turn a CBR125  ____________________ ZX6R + CBR600RR |

Maybe it's because I keep my tick-over speed quite high, but if I'm running out of steam on a U-turn I just slip my clutch and sail the rest of the way, I never go so fast as I've had to use the back brake ____________________ will never give up his CG. G: With my GSXR I do often effectively use it as a scooter with a clutch in town.
ms51ves3: why does it need 500 miles? Are you teaching it how to be a piston? |

You'll whinge your little CBR won't do u-turns but your instructor will no doubt do a u-turn on his enormous BMW just to show you, and then tell you to STFU and get on with it. ____________________ Previous: 2002 Honda CB500 (sold), 2007 Suzuki SV650SK6 (crashed), 2005 Yamaha FZ6 Fazer (sold). You/your bike will be restricted to 33bhp for 2 years.
Keep practising and you will be just fine.
This is what happens if you over practice;

Complaining about misspellings on the internet is like complaining about rain in England. Saying that, it is in the Official BCF rule book '09 and forum guidelines to spell properly and in a grammatically acceptable way.

Trouble is they're not kids! If they are on here they're probably old enough to ride a bike; I seem to recall being literate at 16 I have to agree it is amazing how poor the standard of education seems to be these days but maybe it's just because you communicate with people on the internet that you might not normally meet. ____________________ ZX6R + CBR600RR |
