The Maxim is good but unfortunately they are hard to come by. Being a four cylinder, it is basically a Virago but not dog slow. If you do see one, avoid the 550 as it is chain driven, which is one of the biggest advantages.
You could consider XJ Diversions and pre-Divvys as, although they're not cruisers, they are an evolution of this type of bike. You will also be able to pick one up a much newer one for the same price as something like a Virago. OK, you won't have the cruiser looks, but you are after a hack, right? ____________________ H100 Breaking for spares |
