Congratulations! Glad after all the hassle you've finally got it working. I took the easy route and bought one that was pretty much road worthy yesterday and couldn't be happier Mine idles at about 1500rpm as well so I guess that's normal for the bike. Just got to buy a new battery and I'll be on the road. ____________________ Riding: BMW R1150RT `02 bought mildly crashed

Ignition switches don't last very well on the RXS - I think I'm on number 5 now Although I've only ever bought one new (pattern) and that's survived about 8 years so far.
I don't think I've ever not been able to idle at around 1300 revs, even with a top end that had done nearly 80,000 miles and rattled madly. ____________________ The RXS100: vehicle of choice for Chuck Norris |

Mine RXS seem to stall now and then in my short trip to work (didnt use it everyday) when it was really cold. Now seems fine though!!
Glad your enjoying it, filtering on the RXS around town can be done VERY quickly (though the brakes make it a whole new experience ) ____________________ 99 RS125 --> 02 SV650s --> 03 Speed Four --> 92 RXS100 --> 93 CB400sf --> 01 CB600f Hornet |
