Either a break in the wiring or the flasher relay has blown.

Replace the wiring, but get a multimeter and check the reading across the wire before you start hacking away at wiring.

No point skipping that far ahead, try out a multimeter to check for breaks before you start worrying about replacing wires, it might not neccessary. Are you sure youve tested for power coming out and going into the relay as its unlikely all the wires for your indicators would be broken

also check your earths.

you need a multimeter to test for 12v at the fuse, relay and switch. probably in that order. if all of those are fine then you need to check for a break in the circuit somewhere else.

are they the correct indicators for the bike bike (from the factory) or are they after market,

did you fit them or where they fitted when you got the bike.

most likely is that it will be the relay, though if they are aftermarket they could have been wired incorrectly.

also check the connection between the loom and the indicator, normally bullet connectors if they green or black it could be that, carbon or rust build up may cause a failing in the circuit.

some (very few but some) bikes have to have the "idiot" light working also, check the bulb in the console to make sure

You don't need a full loom, Bike electrics are a piece of piss, Live in Negative out and an earth.

Are they factory indis or aftermarket?

Checked to see that the bulbs arent blown? If its not one of the things listed on this page then its not anything, are you sure youve checked things over with a multimeter, that should show the problem the quickest and easiest. ANd youve checked theres power going into the relay when the ignition is on? and is that coming out the other side? Indicators are the very basic of things, itll either be switch, relay, bulb, or wiring, and thats only the wiring between the indicators and relay, assuming power is going to the relay. Youve checked the ground for each indicator aswell yes?

Yes, everything electrical needs checking with a multimeter. You can switch it to 20volts or to 200ohms, either will do the job, although you need to have one probe on a positive wire if your checking volts, if your checking ohms then poke it in the indicator bulb socket (theres two places inside here, one for positive and one for negative, so try both) and the other probe onto the ground point. You may have to run through some of the wiring loom to find the end point.

I would start out with volts as thats the more easy of the two and quicker than tracing through the loom. If you dont get a reading then youve got a loose connector or very broken wire, if you do get a reading, then it should be ok, although it would still be advisable to switch it to ohms and check the resistance as it is posible to get 12volts but have high resistance.

Any volts value between 9-13 should be ok, it wont be higher than that unless the engines running and if its low than that then youve probably got your lights on or a super low battery. For resistance, figures between 0-15ohms would be perfectly fine in my opinion, more than that could cause issues, anything more than 100ohm and you have some serious bad connections or wire which will likely have become corroded or similar. Its not a definative test of current throughput ability but it will be enough to point you in the right direction. Have you googled for how to test vehicle faults with a multimeter or something similar? Might well be a youtube video detailing it.
