I moved away from IE to Firefox a good while ago due to IE crashing and running slow. IE8 crashed so many times, i need to keep lots of tabs open to work so roughly about 5-8 and when it crashed i had to go back and re open every page GRRRR.
Firefox i like because of the web developer addon, i thought it was quicker than IE and more stable, if it did crash it would bring up all of my windows on restart. Firefox after a while seems to have slowed down and more and more im finding it hanging.
Im now jumping between Chrome which I feel is much quicker at loading pages compared to IE and Firefox. I go back to firefox at times for web developer as its helpful for what i do on the web.

I only use chrome at the minute.
I don't need anything like firefox and it's endless addons
I like chrome because it's fast and never really seem to crash. Does the job nicely for me. |

I hate MS so I hate IE.... I used Firefox for many years but seem to have problems with it but this could be down to my laptop being old and having cookies(think that is what it is)
I swear Chrome is the best and fastest now.. I am worried that Goggle is becoming to big and is another MS and will dominate the market... ____________________ https://justfuckinggoogleit.com/ |

Hi
Use Opera most of the time. Copes with loads of tabs open at once far better than FF. However often have FF open as well, and not that rare to be using Chrome as well. Have Safari and IE installed as well, but (other than Visual Studio currently defaulting to IE) virtually never use IE.
Chrome isn't bad, but find on an old laptop that we use fairly often when watching TV that it really struggles when you have multiple frames open.
All the best

Yeah IE 8 is badly written.
I use Firefox with Add, flash and script blocker. It speeds this up a hell of a lot.

Script blocker https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/722
supper add blocker plus. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865

I use FF because it is natively supported by my operating system and seems to work fine.
I have also in the past used seamonkey which is very lightweight indeed. The html editor is useful for numpties like me who can't do html, although nowhere near as good as the one on netscape used to be. ____________________ “Rule one: Always stick around for one more drink. Opera because it's cross-platform and proper 64-bit. My bookmarks automatically sync between computers and operating systems. Been using it since version 9 was released so even though it has its niggles I would find it difficult to change now. ____________________ H100 Breaking for spares |

No choice but to use IE6 at work
Mainly Firefox at home, although I've also got IE installed too.
Also previously tried Safari and Chrome, but keep going back to FF because it's got the add-ons and upgrades that suit my interests. ____________________ 1st bike (Sept'06 - May'10) : 1991 GPZ500S / Current bike (since Nov 2009) : 2003 Suzuki Bandit 600N

Have to use IE6 at work too, damn these backwards companies
At home I have used Firefox for years, but recently switched to Chromium as it's nice and fast. |
