Good evening Mrs Vale,
do be warned, it can get a bit ribald round here, as, if it isn't hidden due to karma rating Relentless's post might demonstrate.
But do have to say, reconsidering your job-title might elieviate some possible misconception. "Reprographic assistant".... my excuse is I'm dyslexic, but.... it still looks like something FAR more exiting! Embarassed
Junior mechanic too eh?
Oh dear... sorry, I have images of the Pirelli & Snap-on calendars in my head now, and cant shift them!
ANYWAY, girls, bikes and calendars..... sorry SPANNERS!.... let me point you at:-
[b]Pup-Project: Photo-Resto; '86 Honda CB125TD-C [b]
Thread over on show & tell, by my nearest & dearest, charting her progress renovating and mildly customising an old Honda Super-Dream so she can learn mechanics.
I'll just go have a cold shower, and try not to fixate on the Snap-On tool chest in the kitchen as I pass.......

Welcome to the forum. Whether its a nice one or not we'll leave you to decide for yourself.

Of course every one will be nice to you because your female and half these guys on here have never met one. The other half are scared of them Laughing

Seriously though. You'll love it here providing you remember not to take it to heart. We're a close to the knuckle bunch at times but its all harmless immature silliness. Thumbs Up

Now and then there is some serious good advice though.

Welcome my friend.

I think you'll like it, but as pinkyfloyd said, don't take everything too seriously. Everyone is having a laugh here, so just join in.

I'll prey for you as well Wink

Hello and welcome!

All I can say is they are a good, fun loving bunch on here and usually give very good advice but be careful opening some of the threads/posts at work cause they can be seriously damaging to your employment status Shocked

Anyway, what do you ride and how long have you been riding?

ha ha ha well I have had a look around and left some posts and so far so good and the happy and nice front!

I have been riding for 2 years now. 1 years on a little 50cc scooter ( everyone has top start some where) And my second year and current bike is a Honda NSR125 Very Happy

And Im a junior mechanic for a small father and son race team and hopefully the team will be doing lots of uk racing and european racing too! Very Happy so excited I can not wait!!!!!!!

I went to a specialized motor sport college in bicester for 4 years, 2 years doing a GCSE level engineering and then a National award which then carried into my last year dong a National diploma. I could have gone back and done a degree, but my mechanic career is taking off so I thought I can go back at a later date if I so wished!

I along with my dad go to as many bike races as possible, so the bsb, wsb and the gp when it come to the uk Smile Oh and I drag my other half along too :p

Oh and thanks a lot for the welcome guys Very Happy
