Comfiest sports bike?

What would you say, in your experience, is the most comfy sports bike?

Obviously it'll depend on the size and tubbyness of the rider, but just generally.

None, sports bike and comfy do not co exist. Now if you said least uncomfy I would be inclined to go for a later blade.

Both my ZZR600 and CBR600f have been much more comfortable than the bandit 650 I had as a courtesy bike, I'm sure the bandit in theory should be the most comfortable of the three.

Think it depends on the rider as much as the bike

The RRW/X Fireblades aren't too bad. I have lower pegs, slightly higher bars and a gel seat and can ride the thing all day with minimal discomfort.

I found my ZZR600's riding position comfortable but the seat was rubbish.

Inline with G's comments earlier, my SP1 felt more comfy than my ZX9 tbh, I suspect that's mostly down to me being a bit of a beanpole though.

The Futura was easily the most comfortable vehicle I've ever been in though, 300mile stints were absolutely no issue on the thing. Bit on the touring side but at the end of the day it was really an RSV Millie with a big seat and screen

It's not at all sporty, but the little XJR is a bit of a sofa too, very upright and a huge soft seat

Yamaha Thundercat - it's official. MCN ran an article a couple of weeks ago that rated the Thundercat the most comfortable sportbike. I can corroborate that.

The RRW 'blade is very comfortable, though the tank is very fat which can be a pain.

In terms of something more modern, the VFR1200 is extremely comfortable. Yes it's big and ugly, and most wouldn't call it a 'proper' sportsbike. But it's superbike quick and considerably more nimble than a 'busa/ZX-12r.

The comfyness is more down to the type of riding. Sportsbikes are designed for fast riding, where wind blast means there is not much weight on your wrists. Same position around town, is gonna mean weight on your wrists.

I find my CBR600RR comfortable, but that be because i'm only 5'9 and 60kg, i mould into the bike
